Descriptif / Historique
Eurailtest is an E.I.G. (Economic Interest Group) specialized in railway testing and engineering created by SNCF and RATP in 1999.
Eurailtest markets and promote SNCF Voyageurs, SNCF Réseau and RATP laboratories' testing services to the main railway field players, in France and internationally.
The Eurailtest team is composed of business engineers dedicated to sales and the projects follow-up. Moreover, a marketing and communication team is responsible for development and promoting the E.I.G. and its partner laboratories' business activity.
Eurailtest's offices are located in Paris, 1 boulevard Saint-Martin, at Place de la République.
The company was created in 1999 to gather the Railway Testing Agency (AEF) and the Test and Measurement Laboratory (LEM) skills and expertise in order to offer a wide range of tests. In 2018, SNCF Réseau joined the Eurailtest E.I.G. with its Test and Measurement Department. The department offers new services to Eurailtest clients such as digital simulation and OCL uplift measurement.

Eurailtest partner laboratories operate during rolling stock, infrastructure and railway equipment homologation and qualification.
They are also specialized in safety, performance and comfort test as well as material availability and railway installations. These measures concern mechanical, electrical, physico-chemical, acoustical and Health, Safety & Environment fields.
