Tencate Geosynthetics France : The famous brand Bidim® was launched in 1965 By Rhone Poullenc, It is the leader for more than 40 years. In 2005 Bidim Geosynthetics was sold to Royal Tencate.

Manufacturing is done in the Bezons Plant, sales thru a distribution network, of continuons filaments non woven fabrics in polypropylene.
Without complementary transformation this product is call Geotextile; Match with other component it becomes a Geosynthetic or Geocomposite.
These products are more technical. The brand name still is mainly Tencate Bidim®.
Our first market is earthworks for road and railways. Our product are a part of the structure with different fonctions going from the raw materials separation to the soul reinforcement (see below).
Fonction and French railways approvals Separation - S range -ASQUAL certified products - Some have a SNCF approval - A Classification Filtration - Geolon PE 1000 - G 1 - Classification Reinforcement - Bidim Rock Range or Geolon PP -R classification (used when cavities are suspected under railways).
Development program in which SNCF was involved (RAFAEL). Ballast Protection -AR range- Developed for SNCF.
